What is Rekko? Rekko is a No-profit Italian organization that has been founded in 1980 by Noris Gian-Carlo in Recco (Genova).
Rekko is financed only by donations and as of 2013 it has completed 8 projects (Rekko1-6 in Africa and Rekko 7-8 in Guatemala). The projects are of different nature (In africa Rekko built a water main, a school, a hospital, houses and a kindergarten). In Guatemala we have Rekko 7 (a hospital in the remote village of Yepocapa ) and Rekko 8 (a hospital in the city of Antigua) .

Another important aspect of Rekko projects is that Rekko do not own them, as , since the start, the projects, are returned to the local populations.
The two people who have been looking after the Guatemala projects since their starts are Gian-Carlo Noris and Dona Silvia.
